This book was created to teach multicultural awareness,understanding and unity. As cultural awareness becomes part of our everyday life,it is very important to pass along this message. A better race does not exist,but lets strive for a better world in which to live.

I am a native from San Juan,Puerto Rico. I grew up in the Island until I was 12 years old. My family and I ended up moving to Columbus,Ohio in which I experienced my big culture shock. I grew up speaking spanish and my English was somewhat rough through the edges. I sometimes felt left out and so much different than the other children. This quickly tought me that separatism from cultures existed and I was the different one in my social ambiance. I would like to spread the word through my books that the characteristic shared by every child is their brilliant smile,which I feel is the universal language of the world. This book was created to teach multicultural awareness,understanding and unity. As cultural awareness becomes part of our everyday life,it is very important to pass along this message. A better race does not exist,but lets strive for a better world in which to live.
