    Introduction

    D e ar reader,

It is known that poetry makes immortal all that is the best and the most beautiful in the world. Writing poetry is a diligent effort and happiness. During writing poetry I share my vision, emotions, intellect, and express my feelings. Simple words and rhymes as echoes evoke uncanny melody in my heart; different poems—different melodies.

The most important in the book is a dialogue with a reader, I share my inner world. And it is real happiness if a reader likes it. It means that we have the same emotional experience, we think together about the most beautiful and the most poignant moments in our life.

Once I talked with . . . Angel of Sorrow . . ."visually" visited black tube with magnificent smooth blue light up . . . till a voice ordereddown! On my way down I met evil warriors trying to stop me, and then I saw a knight in a silver armor with huge sword, who helped me to go down . . . to return to my physical life; and further my life was changed. I devoted him a poem Thank you. Who was that saver, armored Knight? Another world described by Raymond Moody in his Life after Death during the clinical death? But it was so obvious and real! I touched it. As I touched the bloody gate of Hell in my poem of the same name, I touched its massive rivets, shiny rail . . . I heard the surly sullen bell . . . .

Many of poems have been written during the visits definite places and connected with following emotions.

The poem Niagara Falls came to me during my visit of the falls, when I saw scudding water like wall, rainbow, people coming and watching the beauty of Niagara Falls and listening music of water. The poem Snowfall in Parry Sound appeared under unusual impression of rocks, which locals call cut-stones or rock-cuts because of highway 11 meandering and crossing these beautiful rocks in Canada; and snow, reminding me the Ural. Green plover created in Wellington County; during fishing I saw many unusual birds singing pleasant songs and with beautiful plumages; specially listening green plover, meantime my rod flowed away . . . And the poem Golden Time was written in Los Angeles, California sooner under the influence of my emotions, when invisible Time . . . its measured seconds, as the smallest parts, create the greatest ocean of Eternity.

In my verses I like to use onomatopoeia and alliteration helping to taste feelings.

Poetry is vocal painting, as painting is silent poetry. In this book I presented verses and related pictures. So the painting is not silent, it speaks. Drawings give opportunity to read by eyesight; poetry for pleasure, beauty of words and thoughts. Most photos and pictures I did myself.

I would like to present my sincere compliments to amazing and great artists as

Edwin David (cover), Stanislav Sugintas, Howard David Johnson who gave me their kind permission to use their wonderful pictures for my book, whose beautiful pictures inspired me to write my poems; to Max Dangelicoson of Pino Daeni.

Special thanks to my wife and daughter who helped me to publish my book.

    Sincerely,

    Naz Tliachev.
