The notion of time and future from Adam and Eve original biblical sin to the judgment, all by the influence of God, the Angels and the prophets.

About Nostradamus

A short biography of Nostradamus.

Introduction

Exploring Nostradamus reasons for having written his prophecies in cloudy and obscure sentences and the way scholars have perceived him over the past 450 years. What led me to research the possibility of a hidden code and the selection of the original publications enabling me to conduct this study.

Lead to uncovering the Code

The analysis that leads to the hidden code of Nostradamus based on two chronologies of time given by him in a letter addressed to Henri II, King of France and a time span stated in a letter addressed to his son Caesar (Both integral letters or epistles with their English translation and my comments can be found in the last chapter of this book). The duration of his prophecies defined with the year ZERO of our calendar corresponding to the years 4758 and 3408 of Nostradamus dating system.

The Code

The discovery of a three-legged time code, the conversion of the original French text of the quatrains to Arab numerical values and how to apply the time code to these numerical values. The demonstration and the application of the time code given by Nostradamus to the quatrain number 1-35, one of the most well known and famous prophecy of Nostradamus foretelling the death of Henri II, King of France, on July 10, 1559, following a fatal injury in a jousting combat game.

Prophecies of the Past & Future

A selection of 155 quatrains of important prophecies set in chronological order from the year 1566 to 2242. Each quatrain with the original French text, the corresponding English translation, the conversion of the words to numerical values and the dates found after decoding with their reference to historical or future events. A fascinating voyage through history and the future with interpretation and comments.

Epistles

The letters addressed to his son Caesar in 1555 and to Henri II, King of France in 1558. Both documents in their original French version, translated verbatim in English with selected comments.

Index of the selected Quatrains

Each decoded quatrain title by year in chronological order.

PREFACE

Throughout this book we are going to review what I found to be an irrefutable evidence and proof that a human being named Nostradamus predicted future events and was able to precisely date them over 450 years ago.

This is unprecedented in human history and defy our scientific understanding of the human mind. No one and I repeat no one has ever predicted the future with accuracy, much less with an exact date and details uniquely related to a very specific event to happen.

After decades of studying Nostradamus, in January 2004, I discovered the true mathematical code intended by Nostradamus enabling to date his prophecies and in the following chapters I will be demonstrating the validity of my findings. The code is relatively simple to be understood by most anyone and far away from the astronomical speculations by many Nostradamus scholars. What an irony...

I will walk you trough some of the historical, current and future spectacular events in a chronological order as foretold and dated by Nostradamus since the year 1557 until 2242, the end of his prophecies. You will be amazed by the accuracy of his visions and dating, but perhaps most of all surprised that the end of the world is not around the corner with so many changes and events yet to come over the next two centuries.

It is generally accepted that, the future may have been planed by God the creator of the earth and universe, God being understood as the supreme universal intelligence and something that, thus far, our human mind has not being able to fully understand nor visualize. It is not inconceivable that this powerful God, after creation and within the freedom of choice, may have subjected all things to a change based on the human performance. Accordingly, no one could in reality predict the future with absolute certainty, except if the lines of this future were preset by God like it is described in the Christian Bible with the word and the grand design of God announced by the prophets and at last revealed by the Christ.

Most if not all religions and civilizations have gods, believe in some sort of life after death, a beginning and end through time, and that the supreme powers are from the heavens or outer space.

In the biblical revelation, the scriptures tell us about the creation of the universe, the earth and the human being to the image of God. These human beings are represented originally as Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden living a good life, until an Archangel by the name of Lucifer decided to prove them wrong and induced Adam and Eve into temptation, thus resulting in the original mortalsin that made humans mortal and their living days limited. Then, out of compassion for humankind, God offered through various covenants a way to redemption and salvation with resurrection and eternal life for the chosen and well behaved.

This salvation is announced throughout the entire bible scriptures by messengers such as angels (entities from another dimension) and prophets forecasting the coming of the Messiah, a leader and savior. The book of the prophet Enoch, which was part of the early biblical scriptures, mentions how through his visit to the heavens he was shown by the angels the beginning and the end, but particularly how the Messiah came to be elected, within what appears to be the angels, as the only true son of God and the lamb to be sacrificed for the redemption of the human race.

The actual name is not quoted but there seem to be a strong indication that this Messiah may possibly be the archangel Michael.

It is important to note that the archangel Lucifer (Satan) and the dissenting angels were jealous and the accusers of humankind, showing and demonstrating to God how weak we were and are.

In the Book of Job in the Hebrew Bible, Satan or the adversary appears as one of the celestial being standing before God in the Heavenly Court searching out men’s sins and acting as their accuser.

In the Bible’s New Testament, Jesus mention and refers to Enoch, thus acknowledging his existence as a pre-flood prophet and the only one that was elevated to the heavens to be shown certain mysteries. Enoch is also referred in the Quran as Idris.

Several of the biblical scriptures mention the angels and archangels role as messengers and guardians of all things. The name of the archangel Michael is repeatedly mentioned as the savior in the battle for good against evil and in particular in the battle between angels. The prophet Daniel visions of the end mention Michael coming to the rescue of humankind.

I elaborate on this subject because, since Jesus Christ and the last 2000 years, there have been no Christian biblical prophets. If Nostradamus has seen some future events, he is by no means to be considered a prophet and this is emphasized by Nostradamus own account. However, Nostradamus refers to the conduct of the angels and depict future events all the way through what appears to be the end times and judgment with the punishment and salvation of humanity. He sees the second coming at a place and time the less expected, he writes extensively about the decadence and persecutions of the churches and all things to come, pretty much in accordance with the biblical scriptures.

It is my believe that if sin came to man by an angel, it will be logical that in turn salvation may also come by an angel, and such candidate could be the archangel Michael in the person of Jesus Christ to be the one sacrificed, crucified and resurrected for our salvation. They created the original mess and it is up to them to fix it... if the angels want to keep their position with God.

According to the Bible, the finality of all is the judgment and final judgment defined and announced over a period of time where all things are submitted to God. The signs and things to come will indicate the nearing of the end of our system of things.

A general pat of events have been forecasted by many civilizations and religions of the past and present, such as; floods, destruction by fire, decadence of human civilizations, life after death, final judgements, prophets, the Christ, Mohammed, etc. I am not asking the reader to enter into a specific belief or faith, but to consider the facts.

Nostradamus ascertains in the dedication letters to his son Caesar and Henri II, King of France, that all his predictions were the result of images viewed through Divine inspiration and that he calculated the dates and positioned the future advents the best he could, asking the reader to forgive him for any error or change in venue of such future as the control of the future ultimately rest in the hands of God.

Future is defined as: time that is still to come... Time and speed are human perceptions, therefore it is not impossible to conceive, based on what we cannot perceive, that the future may already belong to our past and it would be then just a simple explanation as to how it is possible to perceive it.

Think about it...

In this endeavor I will not pretend to have discovered the complete code for Nostradamus prophecies, leaving room for the reader and scholars to perhaps elaborate and find more to it.

As to the interpretation of the prophecies, keep in mind that when referring to the future, Nostradamus may, most likely, use words and/or names and situations that only would be understood as we near the time of these occurrences. Example: Would we have understood two centuries ago about airplanes, rockets and nuclear explosions or radio waves? Probably not, so keep it open!

Nostradamus intended his prophecies to be interpreted by future generations of very few open minded and humble individuals as he realized that the knowledge of what is to come must be concealed from the unworthy ones whom may slander it. Nostradamus knew and mentioned that he will gain more fame than ever 500 years later, he certainly was aware that a great majority of his prophecies will not be understood prior to their occurrences. Even with the knowledge of the code, by their nature the prophecies are hard to decipher and time consuming in research, analysis and mathematical calculations. Dedicated to the future, the prophecies demonstrate a compelling evidence of a detail knowledge of the past 450 years of history by Nostradamus.

This volume is the first part of the work I am able to share with the reader at this time and, as I am continuing my research, I will be revealing more of my discoveries. It doesn’t contain all of Nostradamus prophecies which are readily available in libraries, book stores and plenty on the Internet, just be careful and get the original texts and translations, not the versions that have been modernized or fantasized by authors. There is a lot of Nostradamus garbage out there and I don’t want to be the judge or to comment about them, but I highly recommend to stay away from fabrications and inaccuracies by charlatans and commentators.

I will not narrate the complete and detailed biography of Nostradamus that is also widely available in publications and the Internet, to include all will have resulted in a book of several thousand pages.

In the following chapters we will review what is pertinent to the discovery of the code with some 155 quatrains of proven past prophecies and future events to come, translated, dated and commented the best I could. The texts are from the original early French publications.

Thus far, most if not all published English translations of Nostradamus are erroneous with insufficient knowledge of the old French and added words for an alleged better understanding of what Nostradamus may have written.

French is my maternal language and I researched every word for their translation in English with the help of a dictionary of the times in order to be the most accurate possible, without any addition of words that may alter Nostradamus original writings. Word for word, verbatim.

My interpretation of Nostradamus is open and I do not pretend to be absolutely right, it is only my perception and my goal is more oriented in attempting to date the events he foretold us.

One of the reasons for writing this book is my excitement after discovering the code enabling me to pinpoint major contemporary events such as the terrorist attack of 9/11 with its implications, the war with Irak with the exact date of invasion of 3/20/2003, the unwinnable Islamic resistance that ensued with pullout in 2010 and foremost, the absolute certainty of the election of Barak Obama as US President in 2008 with the great changes that will follow, which I documented with emails in early 2008.

I also foresaw through the prophecies the world economic crisis starting in 2008 with a culminating point to occur in 2018.

Then, a flurry of important events for the next decades, such as the Muslim invasion of Europe, the Pope leaving Rome in 2030 and much more that I like to share with the reader.

The ultimate reason is to reinstate who Nostradamus was in reality; a humble and non-pretentious man, someone who contrary to modern authors was absolutely not practicing magic nor sciences of the occult, neither was he a professional astrologer but only an inspired seer.

Nostradamus was horrified by some of the visions of the future but was also marveled by the amazing changes of the future world. Nostradamus was not the only one to come up with the year 2242 as the end cycle, another contemporary of Nostradamus, Richard Roussat, wrote an essay on the duration and mutation of astronomical time periods with the same year 2242. (Livre de l’estat et mutation des temps by Richard Roussat, Catholic Canon of Langres, published in 1550). It is believe that Nostradamus may have read the work or was aware of it as he used many similarities in defining time.

ABOUT NOSTRADAMUS

Michel de Notredame, his French name, was born the 14 of December 1503 in Saint Remy de Provence in the South of France. He was Jewish by birth but converted to Roman Catholic.

As a child, Nostradamus showed an aptitude for mathematics and astronomy/astrology. He studied medicine at the University of Montpellier.

During the plague, he traveled around France helping cure the sick with new ideas that included clean bedding, clean water and clean streets. Nevertheless in 1537, he lost his first wife and two children to the plague, after what he traveled to Italy where he met and exchanged information with various underground Renaissance doctors, alchemists, kabbalists and mystics, a practice he would continue throughout most of his life as he searched and explored mystical teachings. He was also a skilled apothecary. It is believed that in the course of traveling and research, Nostradamus got hold of certain literatures that may have helped him in the predictions and the dating, said books were then burned by him for security reasons as he mentioned in the letter to his son Caesar.

He remarried with a rich widow and had six children, three daughters and three sons, they settled in Salon de Provence, South France. In 1550 he started writing yearly Almanacs of contemporary predictions, or told as such, that rendered him successful. He then began the writing of the more or less 1000 Quatrains (4 line poems) as we know them today under the name Les Prophecies.

Upon partial publication they received a mixed reaction; some people thought Nostradamus was a servant of Evil, a fake or insane, while many of the elite and the Court of France though his Quatrains were spiritually inspired prophecies.

Catherine de Medici, the Queen consort of King Henri II of France was one of Nostradamus admirers. After reading some of the prophecies, she invited Nostradamus to the Royal Court in Paris in 1556 to perhaps explain Century I, Quatrain 35 predicting the tragic death of her husband in a jousting accident. However, I doubt very much that any such conversation took place beyond generalities about the future since there is no evidence of Nostradamus openly revealing any specific event of the future to anyone. Nostradamus relation with Catherine de Medici was more driven toward pharmaceutical and health jelly recipes made out of flower extracts, for which he was an expert and wrote books about it.

After this meeting, Queen Catherine was a staunch supporter of Nostradamus. In 1559, Henri II fulfilled that prophecy to the letter, Henri sustained a fatal injury by a wooden splinter from the broken jousting lance of his adversary during a tournament on June 30th. It rammed through his helmet’s golden visor and penetrated behind his eye into his brain, suffering atrociously he died 10 days later. It is only then that people made a possible relation between Quatrain 1-35 and the death of the King, it is reported that following the event, crowds gathered before the Inquisitors, burning Nostradamus in effigy and demanding his death. Only Nostradamus friendship with Queen Catherine saved him.

This was the first of several prophecies that would make Nostradamus the talk of European Courts. Persecution followed fame and one can now understand why Nostradamus, a devoted Christian, was very careful not to write in an explicit manner about the future but in an obscured and possibly coded format that would make almost no sense to the common reader and open to multiple interpretations.

It was Nostradamus wish to delay the general publication of his work until after his death to protect his family from the mounting popularity and controversy of his prophecies.

Nostradamus suffered from gout for many years, In 1566, his health underwent a rapid collapse, in June, upon returning from the royal Embassy of Arles as a representative of the King, Nostradamus had a severe attack of gout, which soon developed into dropsy. At day break on 2 of July 1566, family and friends found him dead in his bed with his swollen leg propped on a bench, exactly as he predicted in the last presageof the Almanacs written by him.

At his request he was put in a coffin standing upright, enclosed an inside wall of the Church of the Cordeliers of Salon. On his tomb was inscribed the following translated Latin epitaph:

Here rest the bones of the illustrious Michel Nostradamus, alone of all mortals judged worthy to record with his divine pen, under the influence of the stars, the future events of the entire world. He lived sixty two years, six months and seventeen days. He died at Salon in the year 1566. Let not posterity disturb his rest. Anne Ponsarde Gemelle wishes her husband true happiness.

His fortune was recorded at 3,444 crowns, a substantial sum for those days. In his late life he started to write Centuries 11 and 12, but only fragments remain. Little from the original almanacs survived, except for 141 quatrains published from 1555 through 1566 and known as the Presages.

INTRODUCTION

Since the year 1555 and for the last 450 years, the predictions of Michel de Nostradamus have fascinated the world.

He wrote his prophecies over several years, approximately 1000 prophecies divided in 10 chapters named Centuries, each containing 100 prophetic rhymed quatrains or four lines poems.

A first book comprising most of Nostradamus work was printed in 1568 by Benoit Rigaud, two years after his death. The Prophecies of Nostradamus have not ceased to be printed since then and today are more popular than ever with millions of prints by numerous authors, commentators and scholars. On the Internet world, hundreds of web sites in all languages are dedicated to Nostradamus.

A popularity foreseen and predicted by Nostradamus himself.

Nostradamus enthusiasts have credited him with predicting an amazing number of events in world history.

Detractors, however, see such predictions as example of retroactive clairvoyance and selective thinking which find non-existent patterns in ambiguous statements. Because of this, it has been claimed that Nostradamus is 100% accurate at predicting events after they happen.

Reading the Prophecies of Nostradamus is easy as the meaning is obscure with many difficult words of his own and in a strange and symbolic language, discarding syntax and grammar rules. The writings of Nostradamus are in Old French, thus adding to the difficulty to interpret them.

Furthermore many words and sentences appears to be hidden anagrams making almost no sense and rendering the interpretations and visions of the future awkward. However, this was intended by Nostradamus as he wrote it in the dedication letters to his son Caesar and the King Henri II of France. (See last chapter).

Nostradamus had a knowledge of astrology and mythology referred abundantly in the quatrains.

Hundreds of scholars and writers have attempted to decipher Nostradamus prophecies but only a few of the prophecies appears to pertain with an almost certainty to fulfilled events. The vast majority are speculations and a wish by the interpreters and commentators to fit an event of the time or the future. Many of the prophecies have been used as hoaxes with partial or mixture of prophecies to accommodate a particular event or political interest and for sensationalism.

Some scholars and authors have produced an outstanding research work and a true study of Nostradamus, they pointed, perhaps without a doubt, some of the most notorious fulfilled prophecies and interpreted a general trend of future events, all with some reservation and frustration as they never found a dating system to prove it.

I found the work The Complete Prophecies by John Hogue to be one of the best.

On a scientific base, all these interpretations are speculative guesses and for explanation many commentators have deviated into mysticism or faculties of the occult with ties to astrology and a confusion somewhat intended by Nostradamus.

Initially and for the past three decades, I also felt confused when reading and attempting to make sens of Nostradamus quatrains . My perception was that maybe Nostradamus was another Jules Vernes fiction or a book of general intuitions defining the future, but somehow my mind would not rest, something was telling me to keep looking perhaps with a different and more open approach.

My principal question was; how can a human being, over four and a half centuries ago, have seen and described any features and names to be only known much later after his lifetime, a coincidence was very unlikely!

Nostradamus wrote about future extensive travel by land, air, sea and wave (radio wave), he mentions an object a 100 ligues or 400 miles up in space orbiting the earth, missile like features, major explosions creating a circle of death, the French Empire and the Republic, the British Empire, the word America, the law of Communism, etc., words and terms unknown in his lifetime. This was definitely mind boggling!

He then wrote specific dates like; 07/1999, 1727, 13 October 1707, etc. but all these dates for the most part not seeming to match the events, a major frustration for the scholars and with Nostradamus perhaps laughing in his tomb.

Various researchers have attempted to find some kind of dating code, but so far with no luck as they may seem to work for a few prophecies and then all vanishes when it doesn’t work for the rest and results in a greater frustrations with Nostradamus. Some will even argue that Nostradamus made a mistake here or there or a near miss. Others are even in mystic dream contact with the Seer. You name it! All in publications that sells well to the gullible mind, particularly now days in a world of anxiety where people are eager of occult and mystery. Look at how well a book like the Da Vinci Code sells, a book based on speculations and fiction, but so well put together that many readers are taking it for a scientific truth. The same with productions and shows on the Discovery TV Channel like Nostradamus decoded or The Nostradamus Effect alleging the end of the world in 2012 with references to some Nostradamus quatrains mixed and altered by the authors to fit their scam, all in combination with the pretended Mayan calendar predictions. What a farce as there is so little scientific evidence to all of these.

My point in the following work is to get away from this sort of speculations and walk you toward the truth and facts on Nostradamus work. In late 2003, I resolved to analyze Nostradamus in a more pragmatic way and either conclude he is very real and accurate or not at all.

I began my study by identifying the most authentic writings and publications, a difficult task as I found out. There were no original writings by Nostradamus hand, only a variety of incomplete sets of prophecies printed and circulating during his life time with many documents having being lost or destroyed. The main work regrouping most of the prophecies is, as I mentioned earlier, the Benoit Rigaud publications of 1568, two years after Nostradamus death.

For the purpose, it was important to rely on key documents known as authentic source and I selected the following:

1) The letter to his son Caesar, written 1st of March 1555, dedicating his first set of prophecies.

2) The letter to Henri II, King of France, written the 27 of June 1558, but with a dedication date of March 1557, giving the last 3 Centuries, completing the 10 Centuries of approximately 1000 Quatrains.

3) The book of the 10 Centuries published by Benoit Rigaud totaling 942 Quatrains (instead of 1000, the 7th Centurie showing only 42 Quatrains) and published in 1568.

The other writings attributed to Nostradamus are Almanacs of predictions published from 1555 to 1567 and seeming to pertain to events of that period, I am disregarding these in my first work to the exception of the very last one announcing his own death.

The first stage of my study consisted in reading with the upmost attention the two dedication letters as I had the filling that, if Nostradamus was to introduce or give a code, it likely would be in the introduction letters. In these two letters he mention several dates and two dating chronologies of time from Adam to Christ, this is where I focused my attention. Within two months, by calculating these numbers, I soon discovered a lead to what appeared to be a hint to his general dating formula for the Quatrains and the complete fulfillment of his prophecies going all the way to a year at the end of a seven millennium period. In converting some of the figures I found that the year number corresponding to the end of his prophecies under our contemporary calendar would be the year 2242 and as he describe, a period or days of judgement for humanity.

I was very excited of my discovery, but now how could Nostradamus may have revealed the years and numbers in the content of his Quatrains written in old French? This was the puzzle to solve.

LEAD TO UNCOVERING THE CODE

Until now, no Nostradamus quatrain has ever been interpreted before the occurrence of a specific event, beyond a very general level such as a fire will occur or a war will start...

To avoid religious and political persecution Nostradamus wrote his prophecies using highly metaphorical and cryptic language with what seems to be an irrelevant order and dates in the quatrain sequence. The numbering of the Quatrains and of the Centuries or chapters got my attention to the point where I wondered if there was a purpose for Nostradamus in doing so.

Nothing made much sens, like in the letter to his son Caesar where he states that the end time for the fulfilment of his prophecies is set from here to the year 3797, adding that upon seeing such extend of time, some people will raise their eye brows. Well I did and that was the very moment where I realized the need to pay attention to the word for word of what Nostradamus wrote. Clearing my mind of all preconceived notions and applying simple math corroborating at first all the dates mentioned
