FOREWORD

Welcome.

This book has been created to inspire your personal growth and help you be open to the spiritual wisdom and messages of the animal kingdom. The messages and teachings written have been channelled from the animals. As a divine healer and psychic, I have worked alongside totem animal spirits my whole life unconsciously and now consciously, since the beginning of my spiritual journey. I have journeyed with a vast array of totem animals and witnessed their energy teaching, nurturing, illuminating, and healing many people, myself included. To me, the incredible knowledge and personal growth they bring should be shared. Open your heart and mind and let your own soul feel awakened in some way from these messages. It is the animals talking with love.

It has become evident to me that some totem animals are taking on new roles and qualities than those we previously associated with them. We should never get too comfortable or stagnate in old thoughts or beliefs. This is the foundation of this book - to deliver current messages from these animals that brings the animal’s spiritual teachings to the present and future, as we open up more and more. As much as their ancient wisdom from days gone is valuable, all energy and consciousness is continually shifting and changing. It is not better or worse, just different. This is your journey to be walked however you see fit. You needn’t walk in the footsteps of your ancestors and traditional beliefs around totem animals, or you might. The choice is yours. Our consciousness has evolved since our ancestors lived and many spiritual teachings and information, including that of the totem animals, has evolved with it. Yet in speaking of ‘evolution’, this isn’t about us climbing vibrational ladders and becoming more advanced, but rather about peeling back more layers and channels of self awareness. In your own evolution, you simply peel back each layer of your own spirit to reveal deeper insight and connection to yourself, your life and this universe. This, is the evolution of the spirit in you and the animal’s spirit aids it.

Spiritually speaking, our consciousness has been previously favoured with masculine domination; however, now we are seeing and feeling a spiritual rebalancing. Masculine and feminine energy are now becoming in equal balance, creating far more harmony and oneness rather than separation. This major turning point, which is occurring at this time on Earth, highlights the animal kingdom’s natural innocence and purity; these animals naturally live in peace and harmony, something which we continually search for in our lives. And so in our quest for it, we find ourselves far more ready for soul-level path work, such as finding out: Why are we here? Who are we? Who is our authentic self and what is our life purpose? This current consciousness, therefore, is the age of the divine feminine, and one of her most powerful tools is the age of the totem animals.

HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

This book has been written with the intention to awaken your personal growth, inspire, support and heal you by way of bringing forth a small portion of the infinite wisdom the totem animal kingdom contains. Please read this book however you are drawn to. This is not a book necessarily read from start to end. Although you can do that, there are no stories or chapters, just animal wisdom with a strong overtone of personal growth and encouragement. Therefore, if you choose to read the book from start to finish, it will take you on a profound journey inside and out rather than following a traditional storyline.

Be open for a moment and consider the benefits of knowing this isn’t a conventional book. For example, simply think of a pressing issue and then flip open to a random page; know that the animal you randomly choose will bear a relevant message for you. Alternatively, select an animal you’re drawn to, fascinated by or even afraid of, as this is likely a totem animal journeying with you. (This is discussed more in the Introduction.)

Please use this book however you feel you should, for that will be the right way. Connect with the animals by imagining them, reading about them, thinking of them, or meditating with them; just call them in as you see fit. All these things allow you to access their energy and wisdom now that you’re listening. Right now, our authentic selves want to return to their inner peace and innocence and find our purpose here on Earth—something that all animals on earth already do so naturally. There is wisdom in the simplicity of animal’s lives and how they intergrate their spirit into everyday life in such a grounded way. We can learn much from them in this.

Use this book to receive insight. Look up your favourite animals that you are passionate for, look up your pets, and look up the creatures that you fear. All of these animals’ spirits bear important teachings and insight for you. In using this book however feels right, you grow and embrace your spirit and that of the totem animals in your own way. It is empowering to do that rather than to walk in the shadow of someone else’s ways of doing it.

If you’re spiritual, you may even like to use this book much like an oracle deck by flipping open to random pages with the following intention in mind: think of a question or pressing situation around you and then gain guidance by opening to three pages:

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the world of totem animal wisdom. Animals, whether in their physical or spiritual form, can bring much positive personal growth and healing to our lives and our souls. As expressed in the Foreword, now is the time of the animal’s voice being heard, because finally we are listening like our ancestors did. Now is the age of the totem animals.

In this introduction we will briefly cover the following important totem animal development points:

• What are totem animals?

• How do I connect to totem animals?

• Doubting your ability to connect to totem animals.

• Expanding and deepening your connection to totem animals.

• Working with totem animals.

What Are Totem Animals?

Totem animals are the energetic representation of an animal—the animal’s spirit. We each have a mind, body, and spirit, animals included. Every animal that walks the earth does so with innocence, purity, and peace. None of them want drama, pain, bitterness, or war. These basic foundations, which are already naturally built into animals, teach us so much about who we are as humans, our journey, and how to progress forward. We can look at a totem animal’s physical, emotional, and spiritual qualities and often relate to those qualities in ourselves, or at least learn about them and take them on for ourselves. This nourishes us and enriches our own spirits with growth, healing, integrity, and wisdom.

Totem animals really do bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds for a lot of people. Animals are something real in the physical world, and so people can relate far easier to the spiritual wisdom of an animal over, say, an angel or ascended master, who can often only be clairvoyantly seen and do not physically wander the earth. Generally speaking, people need something in their physical realities as evidence before they believe in something or relate to it. Most totem animal spirits have a physical representation alive here on the planet for us to connect with, which makes it far easier for people to be open to and accept their spiritual aspect and wisdom, and stay grounded in it, hence narrowing the gap significantly between believers and nonbelievers. Those who own pets and get to know their animals can certainly relate to the fact that an animal has a soul, a spirit, and wisdom in him, for they witness it firsthand.

Animals cannot physically speak to us; however, we can communicate with their spiritual selves to hear them. Just as we can access other spiritual beings and energy, we can also access the spirit of the animal kingdom and gain teachings, wisdom, lessons, healing, and messages from them. Totem animals all have their general strengths or qualities that they are well known for. Already we grow up learning examples, such as a lion representing courage and a dolphin being playful. We can watch an eagle soar to great heights in the sky above, making
