FOREWORD BY BHUVANESWARI DEVI
Photo%20of%20Bhuvaneswari.tifIt is very easy to state that real beauty comes from within and that external beauty is a reflection of the beauty of the divine. It is not so easy, however, to embody the concept of beauty through the grace of your life and to manifest it in your work and your actions.
I have continuously witnessed how Samyukta has brought unity between her inner and outer beauty over the years. Her unique presence, originality and colourful creativity is always present, not only in her products but also in her intention, through this book, of giving a legacy of beauty to the world.
I have been fortunate to guide Samyukta through different levels of beauty: the beauty of self-respect, the charm of simplicity and the grace of stillness. I can say that I am always delighted to see how Samyukta embraced this guidance over the years, with patience and by understanding each step of the beauty of creation.
I truly hope that you receive The Book of Beauty with as much delight as I have. It conveys the simplicity of the basics and the mastery that experience, commitment and love can bring to your own beauty.

PREFACE
In February 1998, I became a student in the Shamanic Studies Program offered by Bhuvaneswari, founder of the Bioenergetics Institute. My first lesson was to re-learn how to breathe naturally. Fifteen years later I am healthy, and grateful for everything Bhuvaneswari has taught me. I still attend her unique, inspiring classes.
Bhuvaneswari delivered an incredible amount of knowledge on a vast array of topics, from herbalism to aromatherapy to Ayurveda, to meditation and yoga… and the list goes on.
The most important thing she has taught, though, is how to learn by myself, continually expanding how I view myself and my abilities. Her teachings also promote the adoption of a discipline that involves putting my knowledge to the test of daily practice. She provided countless opportunities to practice treatments on others, supported me in starting my business, Face to Grace, and encouraged me to become a teacher.
What I value most is that she taught me that a good teacher is not a parrot. Bhuvaneswari defeats her students’ best efforts to be replicas of herself. By example, she demonstrates that an excellent teacher shares generously her personally-integrated knowledge from a place of relaxation, truth, trust, love and compassion.
The fundamental benefits of this commitment to learning are self-discovery and self-love… and the growing belief that, yes, I am beautiful as I am. Over time, I also realize that beauty is a gift that needs to be nurtured and, for those who embrace it, can
