About this ebook
VDuring the Korean War Presidents Truman and Eisenhower threatened to use nuclear weapons as a means of driving the North Koreans to the negotiating table. To this end, nuclear weapons were shipped to Guam and the U.S. Army shipped an atomic cannon to Korea for usage in infantry support. The actual usage of the atomic cannon named "Atomic Annie" by the U.S. Army remains a mystery to this day. Author Arthur Sharp brings to the reader an examination of the preparedness U.S. forces took to use nuclear warfare weaponry in the Korean War and an examination of the usage of atomic cannons.

Reviews for Atomic Cannons and Nuclear Weapons
1 rating1 review
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5A majority of the book contains much extraneous matter.
The book's big question - Was an atomic cannon deployed to Korea ? -
has yet to be answered - yes, it was ; no, it wasn't
Communists in North Korea were not deterred by any nuclear weapons,
Atomic Annie or bombs, believing that they would never be used.
Major Shortcoming - no photos
