The Fatal Delusions of the Society - Elliot Ricardo

    INTRODUCTION

Today several ideas and conceptions regarding ancient-traditions in the society are taken as correctly right, and therefore derivates activities considered as granted, however their interpretation and use could be put in debate as we never were told the true and sometimes even the real history was never mentioned.

The human reason and trust was betrayed by rulers with the help of religion, transforming rationality into blind faith into false religious statements about our social role.

Several facts were adapted conveniently by historian to the politicians in powers, it was not always appropriate or obviously as more of the people thing they were. For example, the legacy of religion, Calvinism, as one of religious which tough people about predestination, and the peoples’ impossibility to change their destiny, thus, such beliefs that laws of rulers were Gods will[9, 75, 78].

Other example, was Protestant ethic, which became a ‘work ethic’; Quran texts for others were taken as laws, which need to ne obey to be considered a good citizen [80]. We can follow this way and found enough evidence of wrong use of religious beliefs which are innate to humans. The problem is that some religious leaders use our reason and will to rationalize our lives in order to manipulate our good purpose and life style for their lucrative purposes.

The history of our society as part of our civilisation history is full of wrong doing and abuse of power [17]. Throughout all society life aspects: economical, social, demographic, and religious we can find traces of such abuse of who have intellectual superiority, political power, physical power [10-12, 28, 40, 60,90].

Enough to remember the Roman Empire laws imposed to those conquered territories by force; they were polytheists but for theme everything was about material wealth and placer by all means.

The British Empire imposition of its laws to other people in conquers territories to invade and stole their natural resources[58]; The Spanish Inquisition, a war against intellectual activities considered not religious and heretics, as well as their economical slavery of their colonies.

Such infinite documented list of disastrous events is the only undeniable evidence of how wrong the things happened and their repercussions. How supposed to be done instead still in question and debate by scientists, philosophers, economists, and ethical politicians.

People as human beings have biological needs such food, heat, shelter, and their animal instinct need of strength against the own fear about unknown surrounding nature. Hence, they started to hunt in groups in order to be able to hunt big and fierce animals. Eventually, they started to live together to get a feel of security against darkness, animals, and to engage in more complex enterprises.

Within years such groups number growth consolidating a tribe, later some of such tribes stop being nomadic and turn into sedentary societies. When they sought advantages and ways of cultivate some vegetables, they developed the horticulture (technology based on using hands tools to cultivate plants) then, turned into a new strategy for survival, pastoralism, which is technology based on the domestication of animals; and eventually the discovery of agriculture, the technology of large-farming using ploughs harnessed to animals or more power sources of energy. At some point in time they started to keep livestock and domesticate animals for daily activities transforming their societies in Agrarian societies[35].

Greater labour specialisation and food surplus, the need for more complex economic relations emerged, at the same time some new concepts such as ownership appeared. The existence of large food surpluses allowed agrarian societies to expand to unprecedented land area and population.

In such Agrarian societies, elites gain unprecedented power. To maintain control of large empires, leaders require services of a wide range of administrators, consequently, along with the growing economy; the political system becomes established as a helping system of social oppression.

Religion reinforces the power of agricultural elites, through beliefs reinforcing people’s moral duty to perform whatever tasks correspond to their place in the social order for the best of society[64, 68, 72, 93]. Yet religion is a matter of faith, belief anchored in conviction rather than scientific evidence.

The process of accumulation of properties and eventually land, commodities started for good but carrying a particular characteristic such wealth accumulation started by those who had any kind of power: physical, economical, religious, knowledge, greed; at the same time the unequally process created poverty of the other side of society the conservation principle .

Historical improperly accumulated commodities gave those individuals additional privileges, and such privileges gave more and the chain of gradual privileges increasingly created a new necessity: a system or rulers order to protect and maintain and augment such privileges for ever[111].

The economical complexities of these new Agrarian societies intensify the barter and prompted a better system of exchange: trade, which sparked the growth of societies and cities as economic centres.

Cultural legacy common to some group of societies formed civilizations which extended all around the world by rulers and military invasions of economical or religious interest. Then hierarchies and complex societies appear, eventually a State was developed by those with power to keep those without anything under their power [59, 63, 91, 94, 100].

The economical relationships overpower the political ones; society went through several economics stages or economic mode of production, feudalism, capitalism, socialism with different form of government such as Oligarchy (aristocracy), monarchy, authoritarian, and democracy, but not by choice of purpose, just as result of human interaction factors.

The human beings are civilized animals, e.g. biologically very complex animals with a high level of intellectual development. However, no matter our intellectual development, inherited instincts predetermined our social behaviour in all aspects. Human beings not only sense the surrounding world as other creatures do, we build a reality of meaning.

The human creativity and imagination pushed further our society economical development by founding new sources of energy and applying them to more and more sophisticated machinery in order to soar the work efficiency and with them the production. It’s prompted the new economical society, the onset of the Industrial Revolution, which is considered the most important event in the history of humanity since the domestication of animals and plants.

Industrialism is technology that powers sophisticated machinery with advanced sources of energy, at the dawning of the Industrial Revolution, about 1750, mills and factories relied on flowing water and later steam to power ever-larger and more efficient machinery[4].

The Industrial Revolution promoted the rise of capitalism and the appearance of massive working class in their factories. The Industrial revolution brought economical growth to Europe but these economical improvements were not equally to all members of the society, for wealthy people brought more wealth while for a working classes just brought social and economical alienation.

The capital hyper-accumulation, the massive creation of factories in cities, and the worsen of worker’s wages, safety conditions, unhealthy environment made even more contradictory the struggle between capitalists or rulers and working class or ordinary citizen.

In such Industrial atmosphere new thoughts about the true value and economical purpose of the ruling social organization; emerged ideological streams were guided by brilliant philosophers and economist of that time.

The concept of representative democracy arose largely from ideas and institutions that developed during the European Middle Ages, the Reformation, the Age of Enlightenment [46], and the American and French Revolutions[31, 106].

The Enlightenment purpose was to reform society using reason, challenge ideas grounded in tradition and faith, and advance knowledge through the scientific method. It promoted scientific thought, scepticism and intellectual interchange and opposed superstition, intolerance and abuses of power by the church and the state rulers[46,50].

Firstly the radical enlightenment was, largely inspired by the philosophy of Spinoza[20], which in its political form adhered to: democracy; equality; individual liberty of lifestyle; full freedom of thought; eradication of religious authority from the legislative process and education; full separation of church and state.

Secondly the moderate enlightenment, which in a number of different philosophical systems, like those in the writings of Descartes, John Locke, Isaac Newton or Christian Wolff, expressed some support for critical review and renewal of the old modes of thought, but in other parts sought reform and accommodation with the old systems of power and faith[5, 13, 15,].

For philosophers like Kant Enlightenment was mankind’s final coming of age, the emancipation of the human consciousness from an immature state of ignorance. One the key features of the social" Enlightenment, was the increased consumption of reading materials of all sorts[54].

Other emergent ideas intensify and challenge the political debate prompted for a more democratic society around the Europe. The new intellectual forces spread to urban centres across Europe, notably, and then jumped the Atlantic into the European colonies, where it influenced Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, among many others, and played a major role in the American Revolution[34].

The discovery of America soar the wealth of the ruling monarchies and allowed European governments to get rid of social undesired elements, sending them to the new territories for adventure and gold in exchange for privileges there. For example in Britain they send thousands of women to establish a penal colony in Australia in 1778. The Spanish Catholic kings sent thousands of criminals to explore the new continent in exchange for their liberty.

The gold fever in the new colonies unleashed an emigration wave of poor people looking for a better life out there. They not only sought gold and silver, but exploited the other resources of the New World. Colonisation brought vast wealth to European nations. And by the 19 century, most of the world had come under the domination of European governments. Such brutal form of human exploitation is still yet visible in the new-colonialism in which poor developing countries maintain very inequality economic relationships with rich nations. These inequality economic relationships are maintained by local elites and abuse governments of these poor countries.

States and nations emerged, commerce expanded capitalist world economy rooted globally; Democracy diversify bureaucratically but not demographically, and never yet economically. Nevertheless, financial speculation, and free markets prevails as never before[70].

Many industrial societies now appear to be entering yet another phase of technological development. The so-called Information revolution is most pronounced in high-income societies. The unprecedented flows of information are fostering new patters of global interaction impacting in the global culture.

Since the political-democracy and free capitalist market started their kingdom very bad things happened to our society and its population rights, although more bad things still to come to worsen in all society life aspects. The unlimited economical power of few capitalist are ruling the lives of billions of human beings and their future all around the world without any distinction of cultural background since the only counter power: USSR felt by human deception and desperation for wealth.

The initial economical delocalised struggle between nations evolved to the cold war between the two super powers: USA and USSR.

Different economic systems collided, in particular, The right American politics against The State of proletariat and soviets, e.g. between economic systems based on private ownership and economic systems based on collective ownership leaded by the government.

In such turmoil the most important facts were neglected as the fact that the human behaviour was the cause of all systems failure rather than pure economical phenomena. Nowadays this factor still partially neglected.

The world today is full of contradictions, economic lies, individual and corporative greed are preparing the field for the catastrophically growth of unethical capitalist-politicians as well as communist leaders recently becoming the new hyper-capitalists.

The politicians and it massive growth is the worst things happened to any kind of society regardless of their alienation to capitalism, fundamentalism, or communism. The damage done by such politicians to our Society is impossible to estimate but we can see it in our everyday live: unemployment, inflation, economic havoc, tax avoidance, criminality, extreme poverty and billionaire’s coexistence, terrorism, civil wars, embezzlement, etc.

We become no-one when we are treated as second class citizen, and calls us the constituents the ordinary people, when we are treated as a terrorist because we are just working people defending our natural rights, but why politicians feel free to insult us? not politicians, nor politicians families’ belong to any elite, like the real family monarchy or part of the establishment, they just are citizen. By the way even the elite has not right to underestimate us, citizen, as we are equally biologically and socially.

When our rights are denied by any official staff or any unprofessional polices they created to keep us under their control and by the use. The social elite, was created by rich people using some immoral people and paying them to obey them against the ordinary people, working class, this elite of rich and politicians do not know religion or credo, because the only credo they follow it is their own wellbeing and greed.

They carry a luxurious life on our expenses, instead of doing their job for the sake of all population needs and wants. We deserve it because we as tax payer and obeying citizen are entitled to not because of any compassion or moral feeling. Politicians are increasing their salaries and benefits all the times while cutting public welfare and investment in education, health care, etc.

Working people lives are ruined by the majority of ruthless and coward politicians as well a fanatic religious leaders: Pope of Rome for instance, or any Muslim leader. Their lack of morality and respect to others is the root of miserable life and the future collapse of our society. Open the window and will see that they still there waiting for you to help them to make our society worse for the own-sake and their party or religion.
