    FOREWORD

The purpose of writing this book of poems is to try and give the reader some insight into the world of the Parkinson’s Disease patient. I have tried to do this with a mixture of humorous and serious poems so that the reader will be entertained and informed at the same time. I would like to acknowledge the enormous contribution of the illustrator, Philip Ferguson Jones, who has produced such wonderful illustrations, my daughter Anna Fargher who inspired me to write the book and gave me valuable assistance in drafting the documents and my wife Janet for her assistance in collating the book and sharing her life with me for forty years.
