This guide is aimed at the beginner who wants an introduction into making huge profits on the world’s largest social network, for free!

    Who’s On Facebook?

    Facebook started out as a social network for college students, but, by now, nearly everyone with an internet connection is using it. The minimum age requirement is 13, and there is plenty of reason to believe it is being used by all other age groups.

    Facebook doesn’t publicly release data on their most popular age group, but a survey by Pew showed that social networking is most popular with the 18-29 age group. Its popularity decreases with age, meaning it has been found to be least popular with those 65 and older.

    But I can assure you that no matter what age group you’re targeting, there will be more than enough of those users on Facebook to give you both the product and the buyers for your car flipping desires.

    How Can You Sell on Facebook?

    While I’m going to be talking more in-depth about this subject in later sections, let me just tell you that Facebook has three tools (pages, ads, and groups) that can be used by anyone to buy and sell cars for profit. Each of these options has its own purpose, and they can be combined for even greater reach.

    Ads

    Facebook offers a great targeted advertising platform. You can create ads targeted at specific geographic areas, ages, education levels, and even the types of devices used for browsing. Facebook also lets users close ads they don’t like and Like a page right beneath an advertisement.

    Advantages: Ads have powerful targeting parameters.

    Disadvantages: Ads can get expensive, depending on your goals. But I’m going to show you how to make huge sums of money without running a single paid facebook ad.

    Groups

    Facebook groups are similar to discussion forums, but with additional features that pages and profiles don’t have. You can create groups related to your industry or product as a way to reach out to potential customers. But I suggest that you simply search and join as many BUY/SELL/TRADE Groups in and around your area instead.

    Advantages: Groups are free and have high levels of engagement.

    Disadvantages: Groups can be very time consuming to create and manage yourself. More importantly, you don’t have to do this because there is already enough groups established to make you rich.

    How to flip cars with a Personal Facebook Page

    Facebook pages are simple to create (if you don’t already have one), and that is your easiest way to get started flipping with Facebook. They’re free, relatively easy to set up (at least in their basic forms), and incredibly flexible. There’s not much of a downside, either.

    Unfortunately, many people think you need a business page to do business on facebook. The exact opposite is true however, and I highly recommend you only use your already in place facebook page. But if you have been a bit careless in the past on facebook, maybe posting some things that people other than your family or friends might fine offensive, then right now would be a good time to clean up your page.
