I would NOT recommend this book for beginners. Lots of moving voices for both hands as well as big intervals. Some of the arrangements are more complicated than necessary and they don't actually make the song sound any better than if you played block chords in the left hand. If you are a beginner and try this book, don't get discouraged. This should be called 50 songs to play after you know a bit about piano and these kinds of titles can scare away people who think its supposed to be easy. Is it easier than a piece of classical music? Sure, but there are way better books for beginner pianists.3 people found this helpful
