Intro
When people ask chefs where their passion for cooking comes from, the typical response is always to declare the love that they’ve had for pots and pans since childhood, or to talk about their cherished grandma’s recipes that they’ve had since they were fifteen years old.
Personally, at that age I was more likely to be watching the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, or spending hours on my gaming console.
I am often asked what kind of chef I am … and I always answer that I see myself as a kind of food gamer.
And that has never been truer than it is today with the release of The Geek’s Cookbook.
I hope you will enjoy lots of great times with your friends thanks to the recipes inspired by pop culture in this book.
The aim of this small culinary journey is to show that cooking can be geeky, and geeky can be chic, delicious, and easy, even for noobs.
