Bibliography and Honorable Mentions

Foreword

Within each of us there is a spark, the soul. Ancient power and consciousness capable of creating universes. But this power is dormant and suppressed in most. Suppressed by those at the top of the food chain who benefit from the struggles of the lower classes. By buying this book you have taken a step towards your own ascent. Well done!

It is not uncommon for those just waking up to their potential to fear their own power once they get a glimpse of it. The teachings in this book are powerful enough to elevate anyone who employ them to a life of their own design. It is however not powerful enough to tear the world apart. So you need not fear the potential you are about to unlock. The pyramid on the cover is meant to serve as both, an outline of the path to success and an index for this book.

My name is Coetzee Diedericks, I am currently 29 years of age. I have a bachelor’s degree in genetics and in 2019 I am employed as a laboratory technician in a microbiology/pathology lab. I own two properties and I drive a 2015 BMW 316i. I still have a long way to go towards mastering my own life, but I have seen people flourish when I share my recipe for success with them, the same recipe that is in this book. This is not my only persona but this is the experience I was born into and the point of view from which I am writing this book. I will share experiences and insights, from one person to another. I reside in South Africa and I was born to a lower-middle class Christian family. I have endured and overcome challenges which shaped my character and taught me that life truly is what you make of it.

There are a few links between the pieces of the pyramid and ideas that are not explicitly stated. If you see these, feel free to experiment with them. But these links and ideas are not essential to building a successful life, and I’ve refrained from discussing them directly to avoid alienating anyone reading this book. Anything in this book should also be adjusted with consideration of your specific situation and in alignment with what is realistically possible for you...at first.

Chapter 1: The Bare Necessities

Food and Shelter:

If you have a job or friends/family willing to shelter and feed you, feel free to skip to the second part of this chapter on motivation. In the unlikely event that you have burned all bridges with everyone who once cared for you and you have to build up from scratch; this is your foundation. Personally I was never in this alienated position, but at times my pride ‘forced’ me to rely only on myself for survival.

The only thing you have to trade for food and shelter at this level is hard work. If you are not presentable enough to get a job, this is your first goal. I will never advise anyone to beg for what they need, so the way to get some food in your belly and the cloths to be presentable at a job interview is to collect recyclable materials that dups or recycling plants are willing to pay for. In my experience beverage containers are the easiest to find and carry to recycle centers. Do not discriminate; glass and plastic bottles and cans are all fair gain. While writing this book, I was also advised by an impressive friend of mine, who graduated from the school of hard knocks with flying colors that homeless shelters are worth mentioning. These are often over crowded, but if you can gain some assistance and resources, why not take advantage of them?

You will not get rich recycling. Now that you are presentable, you can use any excess money that you have to buy and re-sell virtually anything at a reasonable markup. Alternatively, you could easily present yourself as the person who can solve someone else’s problem, for a price. Like tidying up someone’s
