Thank you so much
for your purchase!
In this issue, we will look at one of my least favorite times of the year in Japan: 梅雨つゆ, Japan’s rainy season. From June to mid-July, it’s wet and miserable!
But, for those who love the beach, once the rain stops, Japanese summer begins and you can step outside and do summer things.
This month, we will learn the proverb 急いそがば、回まわれ. If you are in a hurry, take it slow. We will also look at the origin of the idiom, 鯖さばを読よむ which literally means, to read a mackerel.
何なんですって?! Say what?! Turn a few digital pages to find out what the idiom actually means.
