      I had no idea what I was getting into with this author, my first adventure into Gina Maxwell, and I picked this book. Well, I am so happy that I did, it was FABULOUS!! The writing was eloquent, straight on, and perfect. She touches on a hard subject yet keeps the other parts of the book light and fun as to not bring you down.

      Grady has a serious case of PTSD. When a call to a fire triggers him, he is sent to see the doctor and not to come back to duty until he is fixed! A night out with his brothers, sends him home with a stop at the store, where is overhears a conversation not meant for him to hear.

      Olivia is in a serious dating rut, she is ranting to a friend, not realizing that there is another person listening to her conversation. When she bumps into him and he offers to pay for her wine, then open her locked car door, then take care of her other problem, she doesn’t know what to do. The instant pull towards him has her wanting to take him up on his offer.

      After one sizzling night of passion, they agree to go their separate ways. Only in the morning, the doctor is a surprising person. The road to romance is fun at time and rough at others. Erik and Olivia are a wonderful couple. Their friends are amazing too. Cannot wait to read more of this series.
