      When it comes to research, the Internet is a giant library of information especially when researching college and scholarship information. The Internet has a major advantage over traditional types of paper based communication because web pages can be instantly updated by organizations and educational institutions. Organizations can update their web pages more frequently and less expensively than a book, di-rectory, or catalog, thus giving them the ability to provide more accurate, up-to-date, and thorough information. In fact, most colleges and universities use their web pages to attract students. On their web sites, many have realistic images of almost every area of their institution, and allow you to take virtual campus tours.

      Using the Internet you can:

      -  Connect to college web pages and take virtual campus tours in your own home.

      -  Perform extensive scholarship searches using free computerized databases and search en-gines.

      -  Visit scholarship program web sites such as the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation to find out more information. With many scholarship programs such as the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, you can even apply online.
