      Steve Jacobs, as a Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago, conducted a survey about abortion for his dissertation. First, he polled the general public what profession was most appropriate to determine when life begins; the majority answered ‘biologists.’ He then asked biologists when life began. The answer?
