The Start of it All
It all started back in the early 2000s when I posted an old dance recital clip of an adult dance class performing a tap dance routine on YouTube. I posted it so that I could share it with people I had grown up with, as a memory of our old dance school. The video was a teen and adult class of tappers, wearing high-heeled character shoes with taps and some ridiculously frilly sequined costumes. Back in the 80s we all wore high-heeled tap shoes. As soon as you turned 13 you wore heels. In fact, that’s all I tapped in until I took it back up as an adult.
For our recitals we always had a videographer filming from the back of the high school auditorium. The videos were always poor quality and you could barely find yourself in the picture, but it was a keepsake. The video I posted on YouTube was a capture from one of those old VHS tapes and pretty crappy quality, but my friends enjoyed the memory.
Two days after posting the recital video someone left a comment that intrigued me. I love your tap dancing! Would love to see the shoes and metal taps up close.
I had no experience with shoe play or fetishes at the time and the request sounded innocent enough to me. So I decided to make a video in my tan Capezio heeled tap shoes, close up.
