    Sailing around Britain the wrong way

    Despite just three days of planning, Neil Peters has successfully sailed around Britain the wrong way round in a £50 Laser 1.

    The 53-year-old, who has been sailing lasers since he was a teenager, left Eastbourne on 17 July before crossing the finish line off Eastbourne Pier on 30 September. His trip has raised more than £20,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

    Peters, who uses the social media handle Stick Daring, said the hardest part was the Mull of Kintyre where he tackled massive overfalls and 40-knot winds.
