    Introduction

Welcome to my very own baking book, Daily Bread. As you can probably tell from the title, this book is all based around bread baking. My name is Harry Warner, I am 16 and currently a student at The Chalfonts Independent Grammar School. I am in MYP 5 (Year 11) and at the beginning of term was given the task of my own Personal Project. I decided I wanted to create a bread book trying out different recipes for all skill levels. I also wanted it to be more personal than a regular recipe book by giving my opinions, how I first started baking bread and stories from my baking experiences.

My goal was to write and create a bread book where I tried and tested different recipes deciding which I believed were the best for beginners, experienced bakers, and everyone in between. In my book I also wanted to simplify certain recipes so they were more friendly for different abilities. I wanted to talk about how I got into baking, the many benefits of baking your own bread, which recipe is my favourite, which I would recommend and finally, which makes the ‘perfect’ loaf of bread.
