About this ebook

Our gratitude and humbleness can take us to greater heights. Whenever we begin to think we are above God, God will knock us on our backs. “You May Be But God Is”, is filled with 182 days (6 months) of humbleness. You shouldn’t only read it, but practice these scriptures and write inside the book of what you are grateful for on the other side. If you are reading on a digital device grab a notepad and write it down. I believe when people humble themselves enough something better will happen even if their life is already extraordinary or in shambles. These thought provoking imperatives such as “You may be rich but God is richer” provide a verse (Psalm 112:3) to accompany each day so that you may understand where you are getting your riches from. When my wife and I were looking to move because the previous tenants had our home infested with roaches and ticks we had nowhere to go or turn to. Living out of hotels and driving miles to look for another place to rent out God spoke to us. While my wife was pregnant we were trying to duck and dodge this little quaint home. Even though we own our home free and clear we were running. Running from critters, a rough neighborhood and unproven asbestos floors. Fear is not of the Lord we said. I asked God for strength and went to work. Went to fix the house that the Lord had provided us with. If we would have rented out another place we would have been stuck in a lease, paying for someone else's home while our home, the home the Lord has provided us would have been left to rot away. At the end, we finally feel at home, but I soon realized that if I would have humbled myself we wouldn’t have wasted so much time, even though we love riding around seeing the scenery of life. When you awake in the morning instead of saying “look at me” or “I can’t do this” say “Look at God” or “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Be more humble or God will humble you. Give your gratitude to the Lord because it is He that blesses you. Once you understand that your life will change for the better. In this book read one page, take a day break to ponder on the words in this book. Find time to write your written expressions of gratitude. You may be reading this, but let the Lord guide you through this book. (Psalm 32:8)
