I keep getting prompted to enter my iTunes password. I enter it and then the prompt reappears – can you help? Corrine Mason

1 Open Keychain

Open your Keychain Access app and then click on the ‘System Roots’ section in the top-left corner. Now locate and highlight the ‘DigiCert High Assurance EV Root CA’ file.

2 Expand Trust

Double-click on this file and, in the window that pops up, expand the ‘Trust’ option and change ‘When using this certificate’ to ‘Never Trust’. Now restart your Mac.

3 Repeat process

Carry out the first two steps again and then change the ‘When using this certificate’ option back to ‘Use System Defaults’. Hopefully this should sort the problem.
