NAPA Uncharted

When it comes to wine regions in the New World, the Napa Valley is the undisputed champion. Renowned for its buttery Chardonnays and big, bold Cabernet Sauvignons, Napa is hailed as one of the top wine producing regions in the world, which means it is also one of the most written about destinations for travel. Since we at Swanky Retreats like to travel outside the obvious and bring you unique destinations and experiences, for the Uncharted issue we set out to find the hidden gems of the Napa region. Not in the sense of lesser known wineries or boutique shopping hot spots, but the alternative activities available to break up your trip to the Valley because, let’s face it, there is more to life than drinking wine and eating at fancy restaurants.
