‘I revamped my rental’
When Carin Kruger bought her house in 2009, she knew there were problems with the place but renovations had to be put on hold. As a young widow, it would take a while before she had sufficient funds to cover the costs.
In 2012 she remarried, moved to a new home and rented out this house. But it was only about four years later that she was lucky enough to find good tenants.
