Mullineux and Leeu make top US list

ndrea and Chris Mullineux, of Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines, are one of the finest winemaking duos in this country. In addition to , they have swept the board at wine awards in South Africa and internationally. Recently, American publication selected them as the only South African wine estate in its Top 100 Wineries of 2019, after assessing 15 000 wines from around the world. The wines that helped the pair achieve this accolade are their Mullineux Straw Wine 2017 and Mullineux Schist Syrah 2016. Although they have a winery in the Swartland, the wines can also be tasted at The Wine Studio at Leeu Passant estate in Franschhoek, where they are in partnership with businessman Analjit Singh.
