Move apps and settings

The next step with your new PC is to set up all your favourite applications, plus transfer across your carefully crafted settings from your old PC. Before going any further, we recommend taking a drive image of your old PC’s system drive using Macrium Reflect Free (www.macrium.com/ reflectfree.aspx).

Save this image to your backup drive, then install Macrium on your new PC and take a drive image of its hard drive as your baseline
