1 – Stuffed Mushrooms

This is an appetizer that always pleases the crowd. The mushrooms are stuffed with Italian seasoning, bread crumbs, bell peppers and green onions, for a simple way to complement an Italian meal like spaghetti. You can easily make this appetizer a day ahead, too, as long as you cover it and store it in the fridge.

Makes 30 Servings

Cooking + Prep Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. of butter, softened

2 tsp. of salad dressing, Italian

1 & 1/2 cups of bread crumbs, soft

36 fresh mushrooms, whole, fresh

1/4 cup of red bell pepper, chopped

1/4 cup of green onion, chopped

1/4 tsp. of salt, kosher

1/4 tsp. of ground pepper, black

Parmesan cheese, grated, as desire

Instructions:

Heat your oven to 350F.

Twist and remove mushroom stems from caps. Chop 1/3 cup of stems and reserve the caps.
