    Identity theft is no longer a rarity. It develops rapidly and becomes a socio-economic fatality. Identity theft is the fastest growing economic crime. It is a crime where fraud gains access to important parts of your personal identification information, such as your social security number or driver's license, and uses it for their benefit. Identity hackers can collect all kinds of confidential information about you by going online. They start by misusing your personal identity information, such as your social security number and your name, credit card number, or some other financial account information of yours. Once this information is received, they can rent an apartment, get a credit card, or create a phone bill with your name.

    An identity thief can get your personal information in your mailbox or at home. Identity theft is bad enough, but for the moment, it is also a national industry that relies mainly on techniques such as diving. Identity theft and crackdowns on them, as they improve, are certainly not where they should be. It is difficult to determine because each law enforcement agency classifies identity theft in different ways - this can include credit card fraud, Internet fraud or mail theft, and many others.

    An important way to detect fraudulent accounts is to monitor/report credit. Check your credit information regularly since there is provision for people to get free annual reports from the credit bureaus. Check the website of banks, credit card companies, or account issuers regularly for regular account activity.
