INTRODUCTION
Sadly, many owners of dogs do not realize how important grooming is. Imagine how a woman will react when her husband has not shaved or showered for several days. What I'm saying is that your dog needs to be properly groomed, and you, the owner, need to know what kind of care your dog needs, how often the care must be provided, and the kind of safe and effective care techniques to use.
If you have not, you should take a look at the breed of your dog. What is required to take care of your dog depends greatly on its physical characteristics? For example, its coat and skin condition determines how frequently your dog's coat is expected to be groomed. This chapter contains information on these main issues for your dog's grooming:
1. Brushing and Bathing
2. Clipping The Coat

While almost all dog breeds need to be washed monthly, it is likely that your pet will be washed weekly. Be sure not to use human
shampoo or soap. Your nearby pet store will surely offer dog shampoo, and your vet can recommend a specific brand for your dog.
Brushing their dogs' fur is a lot more enjoyable than bathing their dogs for most dog owners; however, it is still work. Most dogs like to brush their fur provided you have not let it run for too long, which results in tangling and other conditions that have become painful to correct.
