About this ebook
The poems in this collection have the shadow of violence in society, the oppressive and intimidating state apparatus and its irresponsible functionaries and quietly suffering people.
The charm of the Modern state with its noble precepts of liberty, equality, fraternity and democracy has been waning The State, its effete institutions and inefficient and corrupt functionaries have been incapable and unwilling to liberate people from the servitude of widespread poverty, hunger, disease, exploitation, inequality, and evils of radicalism, fanaticism and violence festering the society. Billions continue to live the life of sub-humans.
The people will have to take charge of their destiny with greater seriousness and sagacity to escape from the clutches of the evil forces which pervade the society by choosing and facilitating rise of true leaders who have honesty of purpose and transparency in work.
