    INTRODUCTION

No matter what your extraordinary life is at the moment or what it will be in the future, you will come in contact with children. Even if you choose not to have children of your own, I'm sure you have met children and asked yourself, How did that happen?

I once met with a woman who made me laugh when she said: I really like children. I just cannot eat a complete one.

Plenty of parents I meet have made a huge mistake in their lives, putting more emphasis on making money than their relationship with their children. Parents are working long hours, and the children are in pain. Never commit the error of putting more importance on money then your kids or your spouse if you want a smooth relationship and a good life.

If you are presently struggling to love and lead your kids, here are the answers in this chapter. As you take in these things, I will gradually shatter some of the myths about parenting. Just read the principles, and you will realize that you can still regain your children even when they are completely lost.

Every day when I go to my office, I come in contact with many parents. In 90% of cases, it will be the mother. She will explain to me in detail what she thinks is wrong with her kid. Then she will ask me if I would like to talk to the kid to see if I can fix him/her. She goes and then brings the child into my office while she walks out and waits.

Then, of course, the mother would expect that the child who has just entered will not be the same when he leaves. Somehow I'm going to fix the child because it is very clear that the child is broken. At least that's what the mothers told me, plus I'll have about twenty minutes to do the fixing.

The first thing that usually comes to my mind is to remember all my training over the years, and then the little Mexican man called Cesar Millan (the dog whisperer). I am sure you know about this famous TV dog trainer training the dog, not the owner?. Right? When it comes to raising children in my office, the parents are much more involved than the child. Like my friend Cesar Millan, he knows that even if the dog is trained to behave in a particular way, he also have to retrain the dog owner. There is also always a reason to retrain the parents and the child. This shouldn't come as a surprise at all. Only a handful of parents enroll for training on how to raise a child.

In the following example, I am referring to children that are eight years and older. With kids between the ages of 8 to 15, I can still get by with the familiar story of bank account building. Here I tell kids that whatever they want in life, whether it's now, this weekend, or
