About this ebook

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. This book outlines the steps in that process. There is a six step process given to us by Jesus. Do you know what that six step process is?

    Author’s notation:

I’m not here to talk about the meaning of Baptism from the human perspective nor am I going to debate the philosophy because my observation is that religious people don’t want the hassle or they just can’t even agree about the Purpose of Baptism for whatever the reasons and I feel the majority have circumvented the Biblical process of   Baptism so suit their own needs. This is pointed out in the booklet.

This booklet is based on Jesus’ own authority regarding Baptism. He has commanded it and anything He commands is of major significance. The PROCESS of Baptism must be taught and practiced as Jesus wants it to be. He showed us by example. He commanded us by His word.

Who gave people the right to change what Jesus has instituted and commanded.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:

Whenever I do a project that involves a great deal of research and input from many sources, I must be careful not to change the intended meaning or omit anything that would be relevant.

Most importantly ALL praise and glory goes to our Lord and Saviour Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit that guided me through this project.

God knows full-well that stories, traditions, cultures etc. can and will
