According to the latest International Dairy Federation’s (IDF) World Dairy Situation report, per-capita consumption of dairy products increased from 105kg in 2010 to 114,7kg in 2019, while the global population increased from 6,9 billion to more than 7,7 billion. A recent Bloomberg report emphasised that the global dairy industry managed to increase consumption steadily during the past four decades despite changes in dietary trends.
