Istated in a previous issue that the bonnet was going to be the most challenging part of this restoration work, and so far this has proved to be true! Progress was good to begin with regarding the repairs to the side panel and the welding in of fresh metal where the air intake and exhaust pipe would be situated, if vertically mounted.
