Amanda James

Novelist Amanda James is successful in many genres including time travel, mystery, crime, suspense and romance. She has also written thrillers that feature a range of seriously disturbing issues: a horrific family feud stretching back centuries, murder, domestic violence, child abduction and emotional manipulation.

‘Yes, it’s quite a mix of themes and subject matter,’ she agrees. ‘This is probably because there are so many stories in my head all clamouring for release! As for the range of genres – I tend to write what makes me happy. I wrote suspense for a good few years, but then I lost my enthusiasm for it.
