ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE TREATS

Chocolate marble cheesecake

SERVES 16

A great feed-a-crowd pudding which is very pretty, too.

YOU WILL NEED

For the base:

200g chocolate digestives
100g butter, melted

For the filling:

200g dark chocolate, broken into chunks
900g cream cheese at room temperature \ 300g sugar
3tbsp flour
5 medium free-range eggs
2tsp vanilla essence
200ml soured cream

HOW TO DO IT

1 Heat the oven to 160C/Gas 3. Pour water into a roasting tin and put it in the bottom of the oven. Grease a 23cm spring-clip tin and line the base and sides with baking paper. Crush the biscuits to make crumbs, then mix with the melted butter to coat. Press into the base of the tin with the back of a spoon and chill in the fridge.

To make the filling, in a bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water, melt the chocolate. Set aside to cool.
