    Mi se pare ciudat să privesc înapoi la munca mea îndelungată în domeniul hipnozei regresive, să văd cât de mult a evoluat acest domeniu și cât de mult s-a schimbat. Când am fost aruncată (cu blândețe) în domeniul reîncarnării în anul 1968, totul era nou și provocator pentru mine. Am deschis atunci o ușă care nu s-a mai închis apoi niciodată, în mintea mea. Pe vremea aceea nu existau cărți sau instrucțiuni care să îndrume un terapeut și a trebuit să îmi compun propriile reguli și să îmi dezvolt propria tehnică, pornind de la zero. Acum știu că acest lucru a fost pentru binele meu. Niciodată nu mi-a spus cineva că există o singură metodă corectă (metoda lor) de a face hipnoză. Nu mi-a spus nimeni că nu am voie să experimentez, că totul trebuie făcut așa cum s-a făcut atâta vreme, ani la rând. Acum știu că profesorii predau aceeași învățătură primită de la altcineva, care la rândul său a primit învățătura de la altcineva și tot așa mai departe, la infinit. Ei nu au pus la îndoială niciodată metodele care li se arătau, pentru că nu au fost învățați că pot să schimbe regulile și își pot croi propria cale. Dar pentru că nu existau instrucțiuni, eu am simțit că sunt aruncată într-un domeniul nou și antrenant. Am descoperit călătoria în timp și mi-am dat seama că pot merge în trecut și pot retrăi istoria, așa cum s-a petrecut ea. Fiindcă nu știam ce se putea face și ce nu se putea face, am ales să mă confrunt cu limitele minții umane și să aflu ce se putea face prin intermediul hipnozei.
