HOW THE ANGELS BUILT LAKE LANAO

CHARACTERS

Allah With his voice, Sohara, he commanded the Archangel Diabarail and His angels to prevent the catastrophe which is yet to come because of Mantapoli's vast population. Archangel Diabarail He noticed the imbalance of the earth and conveyed this matter to Allah.

Angels From the Seven-Regions-Beneath-the Earth and Seven-Regions-in-the-Sky, they helped Archangel Diabarail to lift Mantapoli and carry it to the center of the earth. Four Winds of the World All these winds, Angin-Taupan, Angin- Besar, Angin-Darat, and Angin-Sarsar, were summoned to make an outlet for Lanao Lake.
PLOT Winds Blew their Best The winds blew their best but with no avail. They cannot make outlet through Tilok Bay because the towering ranges slow them down, nor through Sugud Bay because it was too far from the sea. Towards Marawi, they succeeded to make the outlet called Agus River, where Maria Cristina Falls arose.

Inequity of the Earth Archangel Diabarail reported to Allah the imbalance of the Earth because of Mantapolis' fastgrowing population. Sebangan (East) where Mantapoli belongs, was heavier than Sedpan (West).

Mantapoli to the Center of the Earth Hence, Allah ordered Diabarail to transfer Mantapoli to the center of the earth with the help of the Angels from the Seven-RegionsBeneath-the Earth and Seven-Regionsin-the-Sky. On the vacated space, Lanao Lake surfaced.

Outlet for the Lanao Lake But, water from Lanao Lake were rising fast so Sohara commanded the Four Winds of the World, AnginTaupan, AnginBesar, Angin-Darat, and Angin-Sarsar, to make a outlet, otherwise, His people will be drowned.

REFLECTION

I salute all the characters in this story because they all possess unconditional love and dedication for their work. Allah, who is omniscient and omnipresent, never fails to look upon His people and keep them safe all the time. His love for us extended to keeping us safe though we do things that can harm us. In case of the story, the sultan means of making his realm prosper resulted to the disequilibrium of the Earth. Archangel Diabarail is very dedicated to his work and immediately reported the catastrophe which was yet to come if not remedied. He did not only settle for transferring the people into safety but he also see to it that the people who were left behind were in secured as well. That showed his unconditional love for his work. The angels willingly executed the Soharas command and aptly did what they were told. The Four Wind, Never Say Never, was very encouraging, they did not quit. These reminded me of doing my task without complaint and giving my best to everything that I do. Tasks are given to me because they trust me enough to do it well. The story itself is a moral that should not be forgotten. Create to Love. Love to Create.
