Eunice Grace M. Valladores Time Changer The point of contention between Dr. Norris and Dr.

Carlisle was about the teaching of morals. Dr. Carlisle will publish a book, including that the morals can be taught without Jesus Christ, but Dr. Norris argues him because he knows that morals should be taught with the relation of Jesus Christ. He believes that Jesus is the authority of all commands and everyone needs Him. The dispute of the two professors was resolved when Dr. Norris invited Dr. Carlisle to his home. Dr. Norris showed him a time machine, and it wass the instrument that he used to make Dr. Carlisle believe what he is saying. The time machine sent Dr. Carlisle into the future. He was so amazed to the new technology that he hadnt ever seen before. As he learned and enjoyed the new world for him, suddenly, something caught his eyes. He discovered that many people in that generation do not know Jesus, and they do not read the Bible. Lots of them give more time in making use of the advanced technology than spending time with Jesus. Because of these observations, Dr. Carlisle realized that if he strives in insisting that morals should not be taught with Jesus Christ, then all his observations in the future might happen. When he returned to the present, he doesnt include anymore that, without Jesus, one can teach morals. One of the worldviews presented in the film is: everything is associated with God. In the film, Dr. Norris believes that morals should be taught with the relation of Christ. The second worldview is: Jesus is just a symbol; everything can continue to happen without him. This was shown when Dr. Carlisle said that morals can be taught without Jesus Christ. It means that morals can still be learned by the people even without Christ. Both worldviews believed in God, but they differ on how God is important and how can it can affect the lives of the people.
