EXPECTATIONS: THIS IS HOW WE MAKE THINGS NICE AND SMOOTH IN THIS CLASS. Dont interrupt people: Asking questions and making comments is great. Blurting out when your teacher or peer is talking is not great. There is a time and method for asking questions. We will cover this in class. Respect one another/ Dont hurt someones feelings on purpose: If it is something you wouldnt want said to you, dont say it. If it doesnt belong to you than dont touch it. Sometimes we may joke but we never joke to make others feel bad. Being mean is not tolerated. Act your age: Remember, this is high school and you are all young adults. Think before you act: Everything you do is based on a choice whether you realize it or not. Think about it first, and then make a choice. It is up to you to make the right one. Participation/ give your best effort: A little effort now means better grades and well-deserved relaxation later. 2
There will not be regular homework in this class, but there will be assignments such as *Thinking about how you can improve your study space, or taking notes for another class. *Maintaining an organized binder is crucial to pass this class. *It is the students responsibility to obtain missed/required assignments.
