The summer was a whirlwind; a blessed whirlwind. The time that we got to spend serving with the FOCUS Team was wonderful. The team was a blessing for the believers and the non-believers of this country, but they also were huge blessing to our mnstry. They brought a new and fresh energy to the field that can at times feel stagnant after serving here for so long. They did a lot in their 6 weeks here. The team had many opportunities to share with college students, to work in the village, at a slum school, and at various other places and with different types of people. At about the time we were scheduled to come back to the states so much mnstry was happening that Above: The FOCUS guys in the village of one of their friends. we were a little sad that we couldnt stay longer. However, our time at home in the states was well spent relaxing as well as Below: Haley leading a teacher sharing about what G had been doing. We enjoyed so much seeing our friends and training in the village we visited family. It was refreshing to be able to come home for even just a short time. All the this summer. while, we were thinking about the mnstry in Bangladesh and, in a sense, counting down the days until we could get back and see all the people and continue to watch G work on them. G gave us much rest during this time and prepared us to come back. Returning to Bangladesh for another year, we are still seeing the fruit of the team being here this summer. The team coming has also opened many doors for us to do mnstry in. We have been concentrating on following up with all of the contacts that we made this summer. Over the past month Ian has been meeting with them to see if they are interested in reading the Book together. A few of them are interested. We believe they are interested in learning more about the faith that was lived out before them by the team. We are excited to see the Book have Its affect on their lives. This summer, the team got to see one person become a follower of J. What a blessing! Ian is already meeting with him for discipleship, and he is eager to learn about this decision that he has made and growing everyday. We also are planning another trip to the village the team went to, to continue the work there. We are very excited to see all of what G has in store for this next period of mnstry. Bring it on!

The 2012-2013 School Year has started. Haleys Year 1 class is the biggest class in the school with 23 students. Again, about half of her students are from nonbelieving families and half are from M families. This is the beauty of Grace, that not only does it serve M families, also a larger portion come from Mslim and Hindu families. They know that we are a Xtian school and that we will be teaching their children from the Book daily, but they send their kids anyway! This provides a great environment to minister to the families through their children. We sometimes even we get to have conversations with their parents and grandparents! In the summer we were able to spend some time with some of these families outside of school. We had a lovely afternoon watching a movie and eating with a Mslim family. We have begun a great relationship with them, please pr*y that it will continue to grow and we can share with them the Good News of J. Haley was also able to spend some time with a grandparent of a student and was able share with her the GoodNews. She also gave her a Book. Please pray that she will read it and come to learn about the saving grace of Isa.
