Quo Vadis INTERNET

Internet is a jungle of information. We can almost get everything that weneed with a simple click. From UFOto a microscopic virus, fromcelebrity to your infamousneighbor but my friends alwaysreminds me that we cannotbelieve everything we read frominternet. This phenomenaenables us to a wide open door to our very private life and the social media such asfacebook and twitter take their big part. Internet and social media has replaced ourdairy, warm social visit(silaturahmi), distance, the waypeople run their business andmany more. We can express ourcraziest video expression andlet the world see it or you can tellthe world that you can tell the worldthat you are angry, sad, or happywithout any secrecy or hesitation. Image, text, video which contain sarcasm, gore,violence, pornography, jokes, news, campaign or even dakwah. Some of them maymake you smile, some may make you angry, embarrassed or even humiliated. Isthis really the world thatwe want to live in? do we really want to grow up in an era where people dont respect our private privacy, law, social Indonesian value andmorality? Is internet a new God? I think internet is not a new god. although the internet is very important to myself. because the internet allows us to find accurate information. help in terms of communication and can be a source of information and inspiration. but although internet has many benefits but we should not make internet as our everything because internet doesnt always give us a beneficial effects
