    Member since 27 March 1997 AU(African Union) and SADC(Southern African Development Community) are the other trade organizations. Despite the countrys natural endowments, the Democratic Republic of the Congo remains a least-developed country with a daunting business environment. The business climate suffers greatly from, among others, insufficiencies in infrastructure, problems with corruption, and burdensome bureaucratic procedures. Serious human rights concerns, have had a negative impact on the countrys ability to increase trade and investment. The problem of child labor should be tackled. Great number of commercial disputes between the government and multinational firms operating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
