(This class is for men only, and will meet weekly for informal discussion and application of pastoral
practicalities. Grading will be based upon class participation and contribution. The day will be announced
before January 27, 2009).

3 Missionary Research Project* BM-225 N/A
(Elective Research Classes are assigned to students who register with Pastor Wynn)

*The Missionary Research Project consist of researching the life of either J. Hudson Taylor, Jim
Elliot, Amy Carmichael, or Adoniram Judson. A 10-page research paper must be written (in
proper Turabian format). A minimum of five resources (i.e., books, letters, documents, etc.) must
be used, with a minium of five-hundred (500) pages read. Students wishing to enroll in this class
must do so, and inform the CBC office of their missionary choice by Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
Research paper is due on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, with No Exceptions. Upon enrolling in this
class, the student will receive the class requirement sheet.

January 27 -1 st day of class for first semester

February 74-March 1 -Lighthouse Baptist Church – Mid-Year Mission Conference

(Normal classes on Tuesday. Conference begins Friday night).

May 5 -Last class of semester

May 10-15 -Spring Revival at Lighthouse Baptist Church

(Preacher will be Brother Mike Allison, Madison Baptist in Madison, AL)

June 1, 2009 -Begin registration for Fall 2009 semester

August 3-13, 2009 -Annual Mission Trip

August 24, 2009 -1 st day of class for Fall 2009 semester
