A Two small accidents

Toyota Camry collides with a car, then continues east and is hit by a Honda Civic (B), which comes to rest facing oncoming tra c. The Camry ends up partially blocking the HOV lane and is hard to see in the darkness (A).

Olivieri parks his car with lights ashing to protect Honda (B). Police believe he then spots the Camry (A) and crosses LIE to assist the driver.

E Fatal moment
Cadillac Escalade approaches in HOV lane. He sees police car to his right but notices the dark Camry (A) in dthe HOV lane too late. He strikes the Camry and O cer Olivieri.

D A third vehicle
Ford Explorer comes upon scene and stops in the fast lane.
