HOW WE ORGANISE OURSELVES Central idea: Many products go through a process of change before they are consumed or used. Our journey through the UOI has taken shape into many interesting perspectives. From products to foods, to steps within processes and a better deeper understanding of the logistics that are involved - students have put together a picture of their understanding through writing, drawing, researching (in and out of the class) as well as through dramatic role-play. Additionally, the children have been rigorously practicing their selfmanagement skills when working in groups doing their ow charts, designing and practicing their show about a specic process and working on their Discovery Harvest. Lastly, the students were fantastic as they faced different challenges while doing some of the more hands-on activities, like plunging your legs into deep mud. Individual investigations will begin next week in preparation for their summative assessment the following week.
