Take a chance to win many prizes. Tickets will be sold during lunches and before and after school. Tickets are $1 each and winners will be announced at the basketball game on Friday, Dec. 7.

olling Meadows High School Rotary Interact club is sponsoring several fundraisers to help raise money to build an orphanage for slave children in Ghana, Africa. Children as young as three are taken from their mothers and forced to sh on Lake Volta. The shing is dangerous, grueling work and many children have died while working on the boats. Compassionate Journeys is an organization that is helping to rescue these children and build an orphanage where they will have hope for a promising future. Jake Roble, an RMHS alumnus, volunteered for Compassionate Journeys last summer and saw that one person can make a dierence. Jake Roble and Amanda Christmann Larson, founder of

Compassionate Journeys, will be at RMHS to speak on December 3rd.

Melor Vinyewo means I love all my children and is the name of the orphanage that is being built to house the rescued child slaves.
