Crosswind Component

NOTE: The last two lines are not displayed on the


ECAM. Dry crank the engine for 30 seconds. The start
valve automatically reopens when N2 is below 20%.
The pilot must decide whether to attempt a new start,
or to report the no start condition for appropriate maintenance action.

UNRELIABLE SPEED INDICATION


Unreliable speed indication may be caused by radome
destruction or frozen pitots.
CAUTION
If the failure is due to radome destruction, the drag will
increase and therefore N1 must be increased 5%. Fuel flow
will increase by about 27%.

NOTE: Set the oxygen diluter selector to the N position.
With the oxygen diluter selector left at 100%, oxygen
quantity may be insufficient to cover the entire emergency descent profile.
The recommendation is to descend with the AP engaged:
Turn the ALT selector knob and pull.
