5. REMARK POINT 1
Upon arrival at the factory , 500 pieces of 4430 were and 2110 pieces of 4448 were packed into the master cartons .60 pieces ( 5 cartons) were picked out for inspection from the finished goods . The inspector also conducted the in-line inspection . For item M22364430 , the stripes were not coordinated between 2 sides. The factory claimed only the stripes style have such issue . They will try to match the stripes of 2 sides at back side .
For the thread trimming , many samples were found untrimmed thread end especially for M2264430 .The factory has appointed 4 stations to trim the thread .It seems that workers will overlook the untrimmed thread end . The factory manager claimed that they will emphasize this to all workers .

For both items , the 2 sides of waistband or inside label were not linear . The details please refer to the photos . For the inline inspection , the production samples were detected many pieces (high percentage ). The factory claimed that this point is hard to control for the stitching process is based on feeling. The factory claimed that they will pay attention to this point .The inspector has asked the factory to train the workers to control this issue .

For the both items , the big percentage of defects was poor ironing ( pleat) . The factory claimed that they will check the ironing during the final inspection table .During the visit , the lighting of final inspection table is not enough . The inspector has raised the issue of poor lighting for the first floor. For the ironing , the factory need to inspect seriously prior the packing .

For the fly twisted or fly pleat , one sample was found at in line inspection . The real reason is the positioning of male and female hook was not coordinated with the zipper line . For the positioning of male and female , the factory need to train the workers .

7. The high low positioning of male and female hook will cause the front waistband 2 sides were not linear .
Recommendation for the future production : 1. Considering the product still remained untrimmed thread end even after 4 station trimming process, the factory will appoint the QC department to check instead of only appoint the workers to trim without the supervision. 2. Considering the poor ironing in big percentage , the factory will appoint people to conduct the inspection when the ironing finished . Right now , no QC will responsible for ironing quality.

3. For the not linear of label and waistband , the factory should train the workers and conduct in-line inspection for each stitching station . Even after the ironing , the not linear label and waistband were detected , the factory should emphasize the clients requirement to the on site QC. 4. For the positioning of hook , the factory should to train the workers .The positioning should be precisely .
