What we are learning:

Reading This week we will be blending letters to make and read short i words. We will continue to practice rhyming, and will begin to discuss alphabetical order.

Thursday-

Holiday Party

Math We will continue exploring the numbers 6-11. We will look at the number, the number word, tally marks, and ways to make each number. Social Studies We are going to be learning how different countries around the world celebrate holidays. We will be making a suitcase, and taking our passport to explore new countries. Ask your child what they have learned.

*Please read with your child every night. Doing so gives them a head start at learning to read.
