A Prayer from the Heart

Dearest Lord, Heavenly King; We worship You and give You praise as we sing; You are the Holy Father; Stronger, Greater, Higher than any other. Thank You Lord for this great day; A day to ponder, to reflect and to pray; Thank You for the gift of life; To hear, perceive, smell, feel and taste with no strife. We ask You Lord for guidance; To follow Your ways Lord God with assurance; To survive an obstacle; Through the help of Your grace and Your miracle. We are sorry for our sins; We ask for Your forgiveness; let it all rinse; All the sisters and brothers; Our faults and mistakes that hurt you and others. The worse things that we confess; You wont love us nor care for us any less; Protect us and Youll be there; Through troubled darkness, Your light is there to share. Willing to offer our lives; Yes! Here in this earth until Your son arrives;

We will by no means complain; This we pray through Jesus Christ Our Lord, AMEN.
